CARDET (Center for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology) is one of the leading research and development center in the Mediterranean region with global expertise in project design and implementation, capacity building, and e-learning. CARDET is independently affiliated with universities and institutions from around the world, such as the Yale University and the International Council of Educational Media. CARDET has completed numerous projects related to inclusive education, social justice and integration, educational technology, skills and gaps assessments in educational institutions, civic engagement, and development of organizational and technological solutions. CARDET brings together an international team of experts with decades of global expertise in research, foresight, educational technology, social and economy integration and human resource development. CARDET team have successfully participated in more than 150 projects in more than 45 countries, several of which were supported by the European Commission, the United Nations.

FELCOS Umbria is a non-profit association, established in 2007, composed of Local Authorities and public, private and associative actors of the regional territory of Umbria that aims at promoting human sustainable development, both at the international and at the local level. For this purpose FELCOS Umbria mobilizes and networks the experience, best practices, know-how and innovation of the territorial system of Umbria, in order to participate to the global challenges against poverty and for the sustainable development, recognizing the local dimension as the main driving force for a responsible growth. FELCOS promotes and implements different types of activities: 1) development cooperation projects with other countries with a specific territorial approach, building exchange opportunities on sustainable development topics; 2) initiatives of awareness raising and education to global citizenship addressed to the schools, LAs and civil society; 3) training and initiatives with Las.

SPAIN - AEXCID

The AEXCID is a project of the Regional Government of Extremadura which was created to foster full development conceived as a fundamental human right where the fight against poverty is part of the process for fulling this right. The AEXCID is the management body for Extremadura cooperation, which combats poverty and works for sustainable human development, supporting and promoting International Development Cooperation. As such, the body manages Extremadura's official development aid. True to this commitment, the actions of AEXCID are framed in its General Plan and the Annual Cooperation Plan. As a result, since 2014, there has been 2.500.000 direct/indirect beneficiaries; 168projects in 30 countries in Africa, Middle East and Latin America and €18 millions disbursed, through internal partnerships with over 200 local and regional authorities and 201 NGO’s

The N.G.O. CO.P.E. is devoted to the international development cooperation. It was founded in 1983 and it is a non-profit-making association. CO.P.E. was officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as International Cooperation Actor in 1987.
Main activities in Italy are: V.E.T. centre, validation of competence (European Passport of Competences) and career orientation for migrant, refugees and asylum seekers; organisation of educational workshops and awareness rising programme into schools on active citizenship, cultural diversity, migrations and conflict management, bullying; training centre for “International Volunteers Civile Servant” sponsored by Italian Government, and in cooperation with FOCSIV Federation (training of 50 volunteers per years); non-formal education by organising the School on International Policies and Developing Cooperation (SPICES); organisation of workshop on Development Cooperation and Project Cycle Management, for the University of Catania and the University Ca’ Foscari in Venice.

Created in 1962, Culture et dévelopement is a French non governmental organisation which contributes to intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity as tool for local development in France and abroad through cooperation activities, especially with extra european cultures ( Africa, Asia, Caribbean islands). It has a 50 years experience in working with local authorities, governements and international organisations such as UNESCO and the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie in order to develop a conducive environement for the development of cultural policies and expression and favor access to culture for all. Culture et développement’s approach combines a research-based approach with field actions, pilot projects and training for strengthening cultural actors' capacities, both in the public and private sector. The NGO contributed to launch and produce are «The Charter of book donation » published by UNESCO, and artistic or cultural activities in France among other actions.
